Financial Review - Action List
Information Centre
A common mistake is confusing financial planning with investing. Financial planning encompasses the bigger picture, considering all your circumstances and creating a strategy to help you achieve your financial and lifestyle aspirations. In our experience, reviewing clients' existing arrangements can provide opportunities for financial improvement without further investment.
Throughout this site we have suggested action points for you to consider - these have been collated below for your convenience.
To take advantage of our financial review service please email enquiries@pantheonfinancial.co.uk or complete our online enquiry form in the first instance.
Wealth Management
- Due to the wide variety of investment options available you may wish to assess your existing portfolio. We can help you review your portfolio and suggest alternative options whilst paying close attention to your risk profile.
- Many investment bonds present investors with an additional allocation, in return for early withdrawal penalties in the first five years. However, if you have held your bond for more than five years there may be opportunities to reinvest the capital and increase it's value at the same time.
Mortgages
- You don't need to be thinking about a move to reconsider your mortgage commitments. The range of mortgage products is constantly changing and it is likely that we could now significantly reduce your monthly outgoings.
Life Assurance
- As some premiums have fallen dramatically over the last few years it may be that your existing policies are no longer providing good value for money. If you think you are paying too much for your life cover we can review the market and check if your existing arrangements remain competitive.
Pensions
- The Finance Act 2004 introduced wide-sweeping changes to pensions in the UK effective 6 April 2006 (A Day). There are clear opportunities available, but also potential pitfalls. The dedicated pensions department can provide specialist guidance through the maze of legislation.
